Blue Cards

Well, this is the fifth issue of MAGIC WORDS, and I'm still rockin'! Today, we'll be looking at BLUE cards. So, let's get started.

Acid Rain - 3 MANA & 1 ISLAND

Destroy all forests in play. Boy, that's a tough break for all of those green people out there. Not only does it mess them up, but it automatically destoys all of those strong creatures with a forest upkeep cost. Hey, works for me.

Amnesia - 3 MANA & 3 ISLANDS

Examine target player's hand. Target discards all non-land cards in hand. This card is even cooler than the one above. Say that your opponent has a powerful creature just waiting to come out, and then you play this card. No more monster!! I love it!

Air Elemental - 3 MANA & 2 ISLANDS-4/4-Flying

This card is pretty cool. It does major damage, and only flying creatures can block it. That's a good power to have.

Animate Artifact - 3 MANA & 1 ISLAND

Does not affect artifact creatures. Target artifact becomes artifact creature with power and toughness equaling its casting cost; target retains original abilities. Whoa. If you take an expensive artifact, and you mix in this card, your opponent will get a powerful recipe for trouble. I think it's called a can of wuppass............

Ancestral Recall - 1 ISLAND

Target player must draw three cards. Are you low on mana? Do you need a boost of power? PLAY THIS CARD!!! Not only can this help you, but it can hurt your opponent as well. Rock on.
*LOSER OF THE WEEK*

Aether Storm - 1 ISLAND

No summon spell may be cast. Any player may pay 4 life to bury Aether Storm. Effects that prevent redirect damage may not be used to counter this loss of life. This card has the potential to make it to the chart except for one thing. YOU CAN'T SUMMON CREATURES EITHER!!! This card sucks.
Join me next time as I review GOLD cards.
