music and high cholesteral to the people and your destiny will be fulfilled."
The Buddha thought about what he had heard and then took the pizza and ate of
it. As the hot cheese burned the roof of his mouth he then understood what he
must do...and so this was the beginning of...

Junk Food Buddha
is an original songwriter's band based in Richmond, Virginia
and made up of five vocalists, keyboards, saxaphone, flute, trombone, guitar,
drums, and bass. The band members come from many different musical
backgrounds, so you should expect to be taken on an ecclectic journey of
sound. Alternative, Jazz, Progressive, Latin, Funk, Ska, Reggae, Rock, Folk,
and different are all words to describe the music of
Junk Food Buddha. It won't take you
long to realize that good music still exists in the world.
Chris Leitch, Jeff Nagel, John Winn, Chris Lowry, and Jody Boyd
have performed
with or been a member of Fighting Gravity(BOY O BOY), Travis Allison,
Dave Matthews, No Small Feet, Everything, Branford Marsalis, The Randy Perkins
Project, Joe Chambers, Ban Caribe, Baby Huey and the Babysitters, Spectrum,
Kings of Swing, Bad Manners, Edwin McCain, Kyle Davis, BS&M, Ellis Marsalis,
and Dizzy Gillispie just to name a few. Needless to say, the
musicians of Junk Food Buddha have been
around long enough to know how to give it's listeners good music and a
good time.
So, you think you are ready to enter our world. OK, then prepare to gain
wisdom and enlightenment through pizza and high fat snack food. It's
the Junk Food Buddha way!
