Tournament Guidlines
It is the policy of SSAA of Virginia to offer state qualifying tournaments throughout the state. There will be a $25.00 registration fee per year for all teams.(Sanction league teams are exempt from regisration fee)
There will be three (3) or more berths per tournament available depending on the number of teams participating. After a team has played in three (3) tournaments without winning a berth they will automatically be granted a state berth. Sanction league winners (First place) will receive a state berth.
State tournaments will offer four (4) world series berths per every ten teams that participate, the first two being paid entry berths.
Teams that fail to secure a world series berth though the state tounament may play in one or both of the two World Series qualifier tournaments offered after the state tournament.
