How to Get a Homepage
The first thing you will have to do is learn HTML.
HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) is the language
which all websites are constructed.
HTML is not that hard to learn:
A Beginner's Guide to HTML. Or another
A Beginner's Guide to HTML.
Or more reference information:
HTML Documentation.
The following will work only with Netscape:
Document Specific Foreground and Background Control,
Creating Net Sites, and
Creating Tables
(last two on Netscape's home server).
Next you will need to read
My Guidelines, Tips,
and Hints List for Creating Websites.
Once you have all your source files
in one directory, all your local
and outside links work, and are sure
there are no other files beside
those you need, you will need to find
a service to host your page. To do this
visit my list of
Internet Service Providers.
Once you have your page on the Web
you will need to email
me your URL and become a member of
Teenage Lounge
Suggestions and
comments are welcome.
